This
is a site specific work for Queens Wood in north London. There is a derelict
paddling pool by a path. When someone walks by the pool, a PIR (movement
detector) senses them. This causes a recording of children playing in a paddling
pool to be heard. The source of the sound is right on the other side of the pool
and nothing of the work is easily visible. The sound level is such that it is
clear but quiet.
