I have been designing electronic circuits for industrial measurement and control for over thirty years. I started being interested in art about 12 years ago when I went to evening classes in oil painting. I then went on a foundation course at the Reigate School of Art and a BA in fine art at the Byam Shaw School of art where I stopped painting and started making kinetic sculpture. I then went to the Chelsea School of Art and got an MA in fine art. I am now a frequent visiting tutor on the BA course at Chelsea.

I have helped many students and professionals with the technical aspects of their art works. It was suggested by several people that I should write a book on electronics. I have spent two years writing the book.
